The 8th Annual Tri-Valley Classic is sponsored by Las Lomas, Monte Vista and San Ramon Valley High Schools. The tournament is held in the town of Danville, which is located approximately 25 miles east of scenic San Francisco. Each year, the TVC attracts top teams from all over the U.S and it's Invitational Division draws nationally-ranked schools. All teams are guaranteed four games and matches are played on large, lighted, field-turf pitches. Dozens of college coaches from throughout the Western region attend the TVC each year. DECEMBER 21, 2008:

In a span of 24 hours the Foothill High girls soccer team beat perennial North Coast Section power Carondelet, San Diego Section heavyweight Torrey Pines and defending East Bay Athletic League champ Monte Vista, all at the Mustang Soccer Complex in Danville. The Falcons' 2-1 win over Monte Vista on Saturday came in the championship match of the Invitational Early Division of the 47-school Tri-Valley Classic.
